I made the FAST STRAPS really simple to install:
what you need is a pedal with some 2cm wide hole.
Start inserting the straps in the holes from the same side of the pedal axle (A.).
The straps is now reversed, so it should be with the label below.
Be sure the fish tail is as closest as possible to the pedal axle (B.).
Then insert the straps in the buckles as shown by the arrows (C.).
Now be even sure to tighten the buckles to the pedal by the straps. Really tight!
Now push the 2cm softvelcro straps to the low 5cm hardvelcro strap (is the one without label) (D.).
Try to shape the FAST STRAPS around your feet when your feet is already inserted between the pedal and the straps.
Close the 5cm hardvelcro strap ( the one with the label ) (E.).

This Los Angeles based Fixed Gear Blog did this review with an amazing mini shooting, I like this pictures.
Tracko: [...] One thing I really liked about the Polipo "Straps" was the comfort while climbing and skidding. The straps are quite wide and very stiff but also malleable to the force of pulling up on the straps...shaping the strap to your shoe.
...and again: ... [...]...They held up great in the rain, through the mud and on the dry and dusty streets of Los Angeles. So if you live in a no-theft zone and like to ride BMX style pedals these would definitely work out great for you..
If you wanna read more, even about a funny story with happy ending go here.
Thanks to Trackosaurus.

1. Minimal Design; 2. Fish Tail Shape to allow the straps to be stiffer on the pedal's axle; 3. Dedicated Buckle Clips;4. Displaced Label.
so not so much has changed, but now we are close to perfection.
just try it to understand!
